Privacy Policy

Do you like people doing collecting data on you and using it in dastardly and nefarious ways? Neither do we!

Your data, and your privacy is important to us. So here’s our privacy policy in plain English.

What kind of information do we collect?

We sometimes collect emails so that we can deliver you downloadable content that you’ve asked for.

What’s the reason for collecting it?

Our goal here is to give you the best possible experience while collecting the minimum amount of information needed to do so. Knowing some things about what you like and don’t like, at least about the subjects covered here, helps us to keep from sending you stuff you don’t want.

Do you share or sell those emails to any third parties?

No way!

We do not sell or share these with any third parties, beyond our email hosting provider.

We also use these to communicate with you about things related to the topic of our site, mainly new content we think you’ll be interested in.

Can I opt out of getting emails?

Of course. You should only be receiving information you want.

If you don’t want what we send you, there’s an unsubscribe link in every email.

Do you store any other information?

If you have registered for a course, then we store your email, username and password; however, your password is encrypted, and our hacking skills are nowhere near good enough to crack it.

Do you store credit card information?

No. All credit card transactions are handled by third party payment processors, either Paypal or Stripe. They house credit card information on their secure servers.

Can you remove the information you have stored?

Yep. Just contact us if you’d like any information removed.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
